Our Events and Trips
Here are a few photos of some of our event nights, trips and demos that we have held so far.
Colesbourne Park trip
In February 2022 we organised a trip for our members to England's greatest Snowdrop garden, Colesbourne Park. The trip included a private tour and talk by Sir Henry Elwes.
RHS Wisley trip
We have explored the wonderful gardens at RHS Wisley in Surrey as a group twice now. Once in June 2022 and again in September 2023. The gardens are so vast and provide such different experiences in the different seasons.
Willow demonstration by Vicky of Dovecote Willow
This will now take place during our July Event Night on Monday 8th July 2024 at 7pm at Cleeve Sixth Form Centre. Free entrance for members, £4 for non-members. Willow items available for sale after the demonstration.
Highgrove Gardens visit
On Friday 10th May 2024, a small group of members visited the private gardens of King Charles III. The weather was perfect and the gardens were stunning, showcasing the King's personal involvement in their creation and design. Photos were only allowed in the Orchard Tea Room.
